what will i take with me, what should i wear?

Also in this case a question of how much...

It leads me through different climate zones. So you have to be prepared...
Everything should have minimum 2 Functions. Additionally there is always the question: „Is it really necessary?“

Here´s a little Scheddule :

I always hated the stink of synthetic Underwear so i changed to Merinowool. The most of my Stuff will be from this material. Advantage: No Stink and very comfortable. It won´t be possible to wash the clothes (and me) so often so there will be a lot of glad people on the way ;-)

Underwear

  • 3 Underpants (Merino)
  • 2 Bikeshorts (cushioned)
  • 2 Pair of Socks normal (Merino)
  • 1 Pair of Socks thin (Merino)
  • 1 Pair of Socks warm (Merino)
  • 1 long Underpants (Polartec-Powerstretch)

My Bottom will be very grateful about some cushion in the beginning. I will take two, so i can wash one... 2 normal Socks and for the extremes (cold/warm) one pair each should work. The long trouser is very warm and should work as a relaxed trouser for the Evening in the Tent... ;-)

Shirts

  • 3 T-Shirts (Merino)

nothing else to say...

Trousers

  • 1 Bikeshort
  • 1 light long Trousers
  • 1 waterproof Trousers

The Bikeshort can be combined with some chausses so you don´t need a long Trouser for the Bike.So the long Trouser is specially for nonbiking Days and Evenings. If it´s raining the waterproof Trousers (my old Skitouring-Trousers) should work, also in extreme Conditions together with the Polartec-Underpants.

Jackets

my favorite Part of Clothing for every condition, the Rainjacket for the wet and/or windy moments and the Primaloftjacket for the cold Days and Nights

Gloves

the Polartec-Gloves guided me in the Winter on my way to work, this is a material-Test up in Davos. Should work for Autumn. For the really cold days i have to organize something on the way...

Shoes

with the Sandals and the Overshoes it will work for 90% of the Journey. For the really cold days and the Peaks i got the Alpineboots. There are so much peaks along the road, i can´t just ride around them ;-)

Accessoires:

  • 3 Scarfs
  • 1 Davos-Dahei Cap
  • 1 Baseballcap
  • 1 Microfiber-Towel extralarge (for the beach...)
  • Bathing trunks
  • 1 Pair of Chausses (for the cool morning/evening rides)
  • 1 Pair of Oversleeves (for the cool morning/evening rides)
  • Sungoogles

the clothes i choosed are approved on Mountain- and Skitouring Trips. Layered Clothing is Trump. On the Bike it´s almost enough to wear a thin layer under the windproof Jacket.
Getting cold is not the problem if you keep moving.
there should always be a solution with the Schedule above.
