the Cemetary of the Village of Cassiar
the weather stayed nice and the road was quite... perfect

someone left a surprise for us

the villages show what they can offer
something different after all that wilderness
and at the end warn us that there is nothing behind
the hills were beautifully covered...
...in pastel coloured bushes
really great to cycle up here
we warmed ourself as often as possible at the fire
the road met lakes from time to time
than the snow catched us... first snow on the ground in the morning

some bridges had metal grid decks. A little bit scary to look down into the river
the Hills didn´t stop
when the clouds opened there were beautiful mountains
they wen´t rougher
and covered in mystical mist it was so beautiful
we followed rivers
at Bell2Lodge the Autumn gave it all
Mountains near Bell2Lodge
after the Lodge the road led us tendencially down
on my way to Hyder i met my first bear on the road
Cambria Peak in the Icefield of the same name
Steward, on the canadian side of the bay
the Towncentre of Hyder
on my way up to the Glacier
the Thong of the glacier on it´s way down
sunset on Salmon Glacier
Peaks around the Galcier at Sunset
my Campsite near the Glacier
on my way back to Canada... watch the sign
the Pacific bay of Steward where mostly logs are shipped
the road led south
then onto Yellowhead Highway, the Highway of Tears
where i met my second bear, this time injured by a car
but the most animals were cattles
that sign is so right
the country is now mainly farmland
and the migrating birds are back
funny roadsigns along the road
Short before Prince George we had to prepare for strong rain
Got it! Prince George in the centre of BC
